2 Safety Regulations
Read the following notes carefully and comply with the recommendations
indicated, thereby helping us to guarantee your safety and to prevent damage
to the equipment.
2.1 General rules
DANGER:
To avoid el
ectric shocks or dispersion, always insert
the power cable of PC in outlets with a ground
connection. Never tamper with the ground
connection. Always use a three-pole cable if an
extension is to be used.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, never carry out
maintenance or configuration operations during a
storm.
Check that the connection cables do not impede or
obstruct the transit of persons.
WARNING:
Never attempt to operate on the device if you are
not a trained maintenance engineer. Always consult
the manual
All device cleaning operations must be carried out
with the device OFF and disconnected from the PC
Never insert any object in the outlets of the device.
This may cause damage to the appliance as result
of internal short-circuits.
The DACTYSCAN84C device is designed for indoor
use and must be protected against water and other
liquids.
Green Bit shall not be held responsible for any
damage caused by improper use of the
DACTYSCAN84C device.
