5.3 PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR USE
After complete assembly and connection of the RI BARRIER mower to the multi carrier/vehicle, the following
is carried out before putting the machine into use:
5.3.1 INITIAL START-UP AND FIRST USE OF THE MACHINE
GreenTec recommends letting the machine run at a quiet idle before use to
warm up the hydraulic oil before use.
It helps to protect the hydraulic components and significantly extend the life of
both motor and pump!
5.3.2 PROCEDURES BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
The operator of the machine must always have read and understand the instruction material, both for the
multi carrier and for the attachment tool!
Be sure, before commissioning, to have completed all points and procedures in the following sections:

5.4 OPERATING THE MACHINE (e)
The following describes the handling of the RI barrier mower, the operator's workplace when the machine is
used, as well as operation and use of the machine.
5.4.1 TRAINING OF THE MACHINE OPERATOR BEFORE USE
The RI barrier mower may only be used fitted with approved GreenTec multi carriers, and on an approved
vehicle as a single unit.
The operator of the vehicle, multi carrier and attachment tool must therefore both review and understand
this instruction manual as well as the instruction manuals for the multi carrier and the vehicle used, before
putting the machine into use.
The operator must be competent and fully capable of working with this machine in a safe and efficient
manner before using it in a public place.
The instructions must be completely understood before attempting to
assemble, connect or use the machine.
If there is any doubt, contact the dealer or GreenTec's Service department!
