7. TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1 TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
If the machine is not working properly, the source of the fault must be located on the machine. Faulty
conditions on the machine can be isolated by examining the following:
- Is the source of failure a mechanical problem? (Error on the mechanical parts of the machine)
- Is the source of failure a hydraulic problem? (Error on the hydraulic system of the machine)
- Is the source of failure an electrical problem? (Error on the electrical system of the machine)
PROBLEM:
CAUSE:
SOLUTION:
Valves or hoses leaking
Hoses and or fittings are
loose.
Tighten hoses and fittings.
Overheating of machinery
Oil flow too high.
Check and reduce oil flow to specified max.
flow for attachment tool (l/min.)
Clogged radiator. (Vehicle)
Cooler is cleaned and checked. Remove
leaves, dirt and debris here.
Hydraulic system
overloaded. (Vehicle)
Greater capacity on vehicle or reduced
performance on attachmen tool/forward
speed.
Oil type incorrect.
(Vehicle)
Check and change oil type.
(Table 10 page 23)
Hydraulic system fails
Oil level too low. (Vehicle)
Fill the vehicle with oil to the correct level.
(Vehicle)
Pressure hose
pinched/bent.
Check all hydraulic hoses for pinching and
damage.
Oil leak in hydraulic
system.
Check hydraulic system for leaks. Possible
retension or repair of hoses and fittings.
Oil pump suction filter
stopped. (Vehicle)
Replace filter insert. (Vehicle)
Noise during work
Too little lubrication of the
ball bearings of the
cutting part.
Lubrication according to instructions.
Remove any foreign bodies.
Abnormally many vibrations
Knækkede og/eller slidte
knivblade
Change knife blades.
Uneven mowing result.
Broken and/or worn knife
blades.
Incorrect oil flow.
Change knife blades.
Check oil flow.
Does not cut
Rotating parts touch the
ground or are held firmly.
Incorrect oil flow.
Adjust working height.
Check oil flow.
Clipping / mowing stops
Oil overheating
Adjust working height and reduce forward
speed.
