Function Description:

The Greentouch Home 60" Electric Fireplace Entertainment Center is a multi-functional furniture piece designed to house a television (up to 65 inches and 85 lbs) and provide an electric fireplace for heating and ambiance. It features storage compartments and a decorative fireplace insert with adjustable flame effects. The unit can be operated via a control panel or a remote control. The electric fireplace includes a heater function with thermostat control and a sleep timer.

Usage Features:

The entertainment center offers several features for ease of use and safety:

  • Control Panel & Remote Control: The unit can be operated using either the integrated control panel or a remote control. The remote control requires a CR2025 lithium battery.
  • Power Function: Turns the main power to the unit ON or OFF. When in stand-by mode, "F" or "C" illuminates. A 40-second cool-down cycle for the fan occurs after turning off.
  • Flame Brightness Function: Allows adjustment of the flame brightness through five settings (5, 4, 3, 2, 1, OFF).
  • Flame Speed Function: Allows adjustment of the flame speed through five settings (5, 4, 3, 2, 1).
  • Heater Function: Displays and adjusts the current heater setting. Can be set to "HI" for continuous operation or "OF" to use flame functions without heat. The thermostat controls ambient temperature within a range of 65°F (18°C) to 90°F (43°C).
  • Temperature Unit Toggle: Long-holding the FLAME SPEED ICON for 10 seconds on the control panel toggles between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C). This feature is only available from the control panel.
  • Sleep Timer Function (Remote Control Only): Sets a countdown (30 minutes, 1H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H, 9H, OF) to automatically shut down the unit's main power.
  • Heater Override: A safety feature to disengage the heater, preventing accidental activation, especially by children. This is set via the control panel and indicated by an "E3" symbol. Flame and timer functions operate normally when the heater is disengaged.
  • Memory Function: Retains all function settings (except the Sleep Timer) when the main power is turned off.
  • Sliding Doors: The unit features sliding doors for access to storage compartments.
  • Tip Restraint Hardware: Included to secure the unit to a wall stud, preventing tip-over, especially with heavier televisions.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Ensure the unit is OFF, unplugged, and heating elements are cool before cleaning. Use a water-dampened soft cloth for metal trim; avoid brass polish or household cleaners.
  • Lubrication: Motors for the fan and flame generator are pre-lubricated for extended life and do not require further lubrication.
  • Ventilation: Periodic cleaning/vacuuming of the fan/heater and air intake/output vents is recommended to prevent blockages.
  • Cord Storage: Store the power cord properly to avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
  • Touch-up Pen (LL): A touch-up pen is provided for minor scratches or worn areas. Apply in the direction of the scratch or wood grain and promptly rub off excess colorant with a soft cloth.
  • Remote Control Battery Replacement: When the remote control's performance decreases, replace the CR2025 lithium battery. The battery compartment is on the back of the remote. Ensure correct polarity (+/-).
  • Battery Disposal: Used batteries should not be treated as municipal waste but disposed of at appropriate collection points for recycling. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

Safety Information:

  • General Safety: Read all instructions before use. Always unplug before cleaning or servicing.
  • Weight Limits: Do not exceed maximum weight loads for the TV (85 lbs) or shelves (20 lbs for top, 15 lbs for others) to prevent instability and tip-over.
  • Burn Hazard: Appliance surfaces are hot when in use. Keep combustible materials at least 3 feet away.
  • Children and Individuals with Disabilities: Exercise extreme caution when the heater is used by or near children or individuals with disabilities, and when left unattended.
  • Cord Management: Do NOT run the cord under carpeting, throw rugs, runners, or furniture. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas to prevent tripping.
  • Ventilation: Do NOT insert foreign objects into ventilation/exhaust openings. Keep air openings free of lint, hair, and debris.
  • Flammable Materials: Do NOT use in areas with gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors/liquids. Do NOT use as a drying rack.
  • Electrical Safety: Connect to a properly grounded 120-volt outlet. Do NOT use extension cords or power strips. Do NOT operate with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Overheating: Do NOT block air intakes or exhaust. Do NOT place objects on top of the insert.
  • Heater Location: Heaters MUST NOT be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
  • Repairs: Any repairs should be carried out by a qualified service person. Do NOT modify the fireplace.
  • Tip-Over Hazard: Children climbing on furniture can cause serious injury or death. Use the provided tip restraint hardware.
  • FCC Compliance: The device complies with Part 15 of FCC rules, designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference.

Warranty:

A one-year limited warranty covers manufacturing and material defects from the date of purchase. The warranty is void if the fireplace is subjected to prolonged dampness, unauthorized alteration, willful abuse, accident, misuse, or if the original receipt of purchase is not available. The manufacturer may repair, replace parts, or refund the wholesale price of defective parts. It does not cover installation, labor, transportation, or other related costs.
