9.3 ASSEMBLE AS A BLOWER
1. Move the tube until the lock button engages into the
slot.
2. Put the concentrator nozzle into the blower tube to
lock.
NOTE
You can use the concentrator nozzle to increase
airflow in tight areas: flower beds, under decks,
etc.
9.4 CONNECT THE POWER CORD
1. Attach the extension cable to the motor housing with
the cord retainer. This prevents accidental removal
of the electrical cable.
2. Connect the female end of the electrical cable into
the receptacle behind the machine.
10 OPERATION
WARNING
Make sure the blower tube is in position before
operation.
10.1 START THE MACHINE
This machine is equipped with a three-way (OFF/ LOW/
HIGH) switch.
1. Push the on/off button forward to reach the low
speed.
2. Push the on/off button forward twice to reach the
high speed.
10.2 STOP THE MACHINE
1. Pull back the on/off button to the off position.
10.3 ADJUST THE SHOULDER STRAP
1. Pull the tab to increase the length of the shoulder
strap.
2. Pull the strap to decrease the length of the shoulder
strap.
10.4 OPERATE AS A MULCHER
1. Hold the machine tightly.
2. Tilt the mulcher tubes (2 - 4 in. or 5 - 10 cm).
3. Use a sweeping action to collect light unwanted
materials.
NOTE
Make sure that you install and zip the bag.
NOTE
Use the shoulder strap.
10.5 OPERATE AS A BLOWER
1. Hold the machine tightly.
2. Operate from side to side.
3. Move the machine forward slowly.
