2.2 Application Scenarios
Battery coordinates with PCS in the residential energy storage system. The typical application scenarios are as shown
below.

The energy produced by PV is optimized to supply loads.
The excess energy is used to charge battery, then export
to grid.
Battery powers loads at nighttime when there is no PV. If
battery energy is insu󰀩cient, it can supply loads together
with grid

When grid falls, battery and PV can power loads. Battery can be charged by grid. Users are suggested to
store energy from grid to battery when electricity price is
relatively lower.
