Using DAB mode for the first
time
1 To select DAB mode, open the < Main Menu
> and choose option (Digital Radio) by long
press the »INFO/MENU« button then short
press the » « / » « button and short press
the »OK« / » « knob to confirm.
2 Or, in current “now playing” screen, open the
mode menu and select “DAB Radio” icon by
short pressing the » / MODE« button and
then short press the » « / » « and » « / »
« button or rotating the »OK« knob, and then
short press the »OK« / » « knob to confirm.
- Display: »Scan screen« and <scanning/con-
necting...>
- The device starts the Auto Tuning System to
scan the whole DAB bandwidth and stores the
found stations in the station list.
3 After the scanning process is completed, the
device starts to play the first received DAB sta-
tion.
Note: After scanning is completed, if the station
list is still empty, the display will show “No sta-
tions found”. If no stations are found it may
be necessary to relocate your Kitchen Radio to
a position with a better reception.
1 Rotate the »OK« knob to » - « / »+« on device
or short press the »VOL- « / »VOL+« button
repeatedly on remote control to set the desired
volume level when necessary.
Selecting a DAB radio station
(from Station list)
1 To open the station list, short press the
» «button on device or on remote control.
2 And then, short press the » « / » « button or
rotate the »OK« knob to select a desired sta-
tion name and then short press the »OK« / »
« knob to confirm selection.
- Display: »Connecting /«.
3 After connection is completed, selected station
starts playing.
Storing DAB radio stations to
presets
After the automatic station search, all radio sta-
tions will be stored in the station list (program list).
You can store your favourite DAB radio stations
into presets memory 1-30.
1 In DAB “now playing” screen, short press the
» « button on device or remote control to call
up the station list menu.
- Display: < Station list > appears.
2 Select the desired station (e.g. BBC 6 Music)
by short pressing the » « / » « button or ro-
tating the »OK«« knob, and then short press
the »OK« / » « knob to confirm.
3 The selected station is used as current station.
- Display: e.g. < BBC 6 Music >.
4 Now, long press the »PRE/MEM« to open the
< Save to Preset > menu.
- Display: Save to Preset < 1 - 30. (Contents)
>.
5 Then choose the desired preset number (e.g.
< 4. (Not set) > ) by short pressing the » «
/ » « button or rotating the »OK« knob, and
then short press the »OK« / » « knob to con-
firm.
- Display: < Preset 4 saved > appears briefly.
6 Repeat steps 1-5 to store other desired stations
to presets.
Programming DAB radio
stations – Manual Tuner
1 In DAB “now playing” screen, long press the
»INFO/MENU« button on device or short
press the »MENU« button on remote control,
to open the DAB menu.
2 Select < Manual tune> by short pressing
the » « / » « button or rotating the »OK««
knob, and then short press the »OK« / » «
knob to confirm.
- Display: e.g. < 5A 174.928MHz - 13F
239.200MHz > (channel list and frequency
of a DAB radio station).
3 Select a desired channel/frequency by short
