1. Close the fuel valve and
remove the tank. Remove
the sealing ring and filter.
2. Clean the tank, the
sealing ring and the filter
with an incombustible or
high flash point solvent.
3. Reinstall the seal ring,
filter and sediment
container.
4. Open the fuel valve and
check for leaks.
CLEAN THE AIR FILTER
CLEAN THE FUEL TANK
The air filter system uses a foam element that can be washed and reused.
1. Open the cover with the lock nut and remove the air filter’s foam element.
2. Wash the foam element with liquid detergent, then rinse with water and squeeze with a
clean cloth.
3. Saturate the foam filter with clean motor oil, remove the excess by squeezing with a
clean, dry cloth.
4. Replace the air filter and the air filter cover.
