What to do if the GYS ARTIC 1500 Battery Charger indicator is on but the charge doesn't start?

If the indicator light is on but the GYS Battery Charger isn’t charging, it could be due to a short-circuit. Ensure there's no power consumption in the vehicle's electrical system. Alternatively, it might be an open circuit. In this case, check that the clamps are correctly connected. It can also be due to polarity reversal. If the indicator still doesn’t light up after checking these steps, the battery may be sulfated or damaged and needs replacement.
