To prevent damage to the fan tray or the connectors on the backplane, insert the FAN-40B-1-
C/ FAN-40F-1-D fan tray gently. If you encounter a hard resistance while inserting the fan tray, pull
out the fan tray and insert it again
安装FAN-40B-1-C/FAN-40F-1-D风扇模块时，为了避免损坏风扇和背板的连接器端子，在风扇
插入过程中动作要缓慢，如果插入过程阻力较大或风扇模块位置出现偏斜，必须先拔出风扇模
块，然后重新插入。
The switch comes with empty fan tray slots. You must fully configure the switch with fan trays of the
same model.
交换机出厂时所有风扇插槽均为空，需满配相同型号的风扇模块。
Make sure each slot has a module or a filler panel installed while the switch is operating.
交换机运行过程中，必须确保所有可插拔模块插槽不能为空，请务必安装相应的模块或假面板。
Do not remove multiple fan trays simultaneously. You can remove another fan tray only after you
finish replacing one fan tray. Make sure you finish replacing a fan tray within 3 minutes.
更换风扇模块过程中禁止同时拔出多个风扇模块，应按照拔出一个立即更换一个的方式进行，且
单个风扇模块的更换时间不要超过3分钟。

The switch has a front-rear air aisle. It can provide airflow from the power module side to the port
side, or from the port side to the power module side, depending on the fan trays installed.
交换机采用前后风道设计，通过配置不同的风扇模块，可提供“电源侧到端口侧”和“端口侧到电源
侧”两种通风走向，满足不同环境下的散热要求。

Installing and removing a fan tray
The LSWM1FANSA/LSWM1FANSA-SN/FAN-40F-1-D fan tray provides power supply-side intake
and port-side exhaust airflow. The handle of the LSWM1FANSA/LSWM1FANSA-SN fan tray is
blue. The handle of the FAN-40F-1-D fan tray is red. The LSWM1FANSAB /LSWM1FANSAB- SN
/ FAN-40B-1-C fan tray provides port-side intake and power module-side exhaust airflow, and its
handle is red.
LSWM1FANSA/LSWM1FANSA-SN/FAN-40F-1-D为吹风风扇，风向为电源侧进风，端口侧
出风，LSWM1FANSA/LSWM1FANSA-SN风扇把手为蓝色，FAN-40F-1-D风
扇把手为红色；LSWM1FANSAB/LSWM1FANSAB-SN/FAN-40B-1-
C为抽风风扇，风向为端口侧进风，电源侧出风，风扇把手为红色。
Before installing a fan tray, make sure the airflow direction marked on the fan tray meets the
ventilation requirement of the installation site.
安装风扇模块前，请根据风扇模块的风向指示，确认气流方向和安装环境的通风要求一致。
When you install an LSWM1FANSA/LSWM1FANSA-SN/LSWM1FANSAB/LSWM1FANSAB-SN fan
tray, make sure the "TOP" mark on the fan tray faces upwards.
安装LSWM1FANSA/LSWM1FANSA-SN/LSWM1FANSAB/LSWM1FANSAB-SN风扇模块时，
请确保“TOP”丝印朝上。
