DESCRIPTION
The trans•nova P1500 from Hafler! A company rich with heritage and experi-
ence. Building only the finest audio power amplifiers for professionals and
audiophiles the world over since 1975. The P1500
trans•nova is perfect for many studio monitoring
touring sound and fixed installations. Featuring
Professor James Strickland’s radical trans•nova
topology (TRANSconductance NOdal Voltage
Amplifier). This circuitry (patent #4467288) was
first introduced in our 9500 and promptly blew away expen-
sive esoteric amps taking audio technology up to a whole new level in perfor-
mance.
New LED indicators allow visually monitoring the operating status of each
channel. The Thermal and Short indicators light when these protection cir-
cuits have been activated. The Clip indicator assists in protecting the speak-
ers by showing when the amp is overdriven and the output signal is distorted.
The Signal indicator lights to show the presence of an audio signal.
