How to fix a Haier HLC1700AXS Washer when the water will not drain?
    • T
      Tara Cabrera MDAug 6, 2025
If the water will not drain from your Haier Washer, it could be due to your drain hose setup. Ensure the drain hose support bracket is looped over a sink or into a standpipe that is between 2'6" and 3'3" high, and that the end of the hose is not immersed in water. Additionally, the button trap may be full, so check to see that the button trap is clean and dust free.

What to do if there is water on the floor near my Haier HLC1700AXS Washer?
    • K
      Kevin ShermanAug 15, 2025
If there's water on the floor near your Haier Washer, the leakage could be due to an improperly connected drain or water hose. Check all connections to ensure they are secure. A clogged or slow-draining sink or standpipe can also cause this issue; in this case, check your plumbing or consult a professional plumber. Also, using the wrong detergent or too much detergent can lead to leaks. Make sure you are only using HE (High Efficiency) detergent.

What to do if the wash/dry cycle does not start on my Haier HLC1700AXS Washer?
    • S
      Shawn GillAug 26, 2025
If the wash or dry cycle on your Haier Washer isn't starting, first ensure that the door is completely closed. If it still doesn't start, you may have accidentally selected the delay start function. If so, cancel the delay start and try again.
