DARTBOARD
FUNCTIONS
Demo
mode
-
Plays through
all
voice
and
sound
effects.
Turn
the
power
switch
ON.
After
opening
song,
press
BOUNCE
OUT
button
4
times
quickly.
Volume
control
-
This
dartboard
allows
you
to
choose
loud
sound,
low
sound,
or
no
sound.
Game
menu
-
The
complete
menu
of
games
is
printed
on
the
dartboard.
To
page
through
the
games
on
screen,
press
the
GAME
button
to
make
your
selection.
Press
SELECT
button
to
change
game
variations
and
skill
levels.
HOLD
light
-
This
green
light
turns
on
to
indicate
the
dartboard
is
in
hold
status.
It
will
also
light
up
to
indicate
dartboard
is
in
"SLEEP"
mode.
Current
game
will
be
stored
in
memory
-
press
any
button
to
resume
play.
PLAYER
button
-
This
button
is
used
at
the
start
of
each
game
to
select
the
number
of
players
you
want
to
play
the
game.
DOUBLE/MISS
button
-
This
button
is
used
to
activate
the Double
In/Double
Out
option
for
the
"01"
games.
This
button
is
only
active
when
301,
401,
etc.
is
selected.
START/HOLD
button
-
This
button
must
be
pressed
to
start
a
game.
Before
this
is
pressed,
you
must
select
a
game,
select
the
number
of
players,
and
choose
a
Double
option
if
playing
an
"01"
game.
Once
this
process
is
complete,
press
the
START
button
to
begin
play.
BOUNCE
OUT
button
-
Decide
before
play
if
you
want
to
count
darts
that
do
not
remain
in
board
("bounce-outs")
or
not.
If
not,
simply
press
the
BOUNCE
OUT
button
immediately
after
a
bounce
out
occurs to
deduct
the
score
that
registers.
ESTIMATE/SCORE
button
-
The
estimate
feature
is
active
only
during
the
"01"
games
(301,
401,
etc.).
When
a
player's
score
falls
below
160,
he/she
can
press
the
ESTIMATE
button
and
get
a
suggestion
from
the
dartboard
as
to
the
3
darts
needed
to
finish
the
game.
Note
doubles
and
triples
are
indicated
with
2
and
3
dashes
to
the
left
of
the
number
respectively.
The
SCORE
feature
allows
player
to
access
score
not
current
on
display.
Catch
Ring
-
The
exclusive
Halex
catch
ring
is the
2-inch
area
surrounding
the
target
area.
This
area
catches
"missed"
darts
so
they
don't
fall
to
the
floor.
If
you
throw
a
dart,
during
your
round,
that
lands
in
the
catch
area,
be
sure
to
press
the
HOLD
button
before
removing
the
other
darts
from
the
target
area.
If
not,
you
may
accidentally
press
a
segment
and
register
a
score.

ELECTRONIC
DARTBOARD OPERATION
Press
the
"POWER"
switch
to
the
"ON"
position.
The
LED
displays will
indicate
the
game
and
the
default
number
of
players.
Please
refer
to
the
chart
on
page
13
for
the
order
of
games
and
what
the
LED
display
will
indicate.
After
opening
song,
display
will
run
through
'Power-On
Test"
where
all
numbers
will
blink
to
confirm
operation.
1.
Select
sound
volume
level
by
setting
switch
to
"MAX",
"LOW",
or
"OFF"
position.
2
Press
"GAME/SELECT"
buttons
until
desired
game
is
displayed.
3
Press
"DOUBLE
IN/OUT"
to
select
starting
and/or
ending
on
double
or
any
score
(used
only
in
301
-901
games).
4.
Press
"PLAYER"
button
to
select
the number
of
players;
1,
2,
3,
or
4
players
The
player
indicator
lights
will
indicate
your
choice.
5.
Press
"START"
button
to
begin
play.
6.
Throw
darts
The
3
dart
indicator
lights
represent
the number
of
throws
remaining
for
the
active
player.
These
are
located
in
the
active
display.
When
all
3
daits
have
been
thrown,
the
HOLD
indicator
lights
up.
The
darts
can
now
be
removed
without
affecting
the
electronic
scoring.
If
a
player
throws
a
"miss"
(dart that
lands
outside
scoring
area)
be
sure
to
press
the
"HOLD"
button
before
removing
darts
so
a
score
is
not
registered
in
error.
If
darts
are
difficult
to
pull
out
of
board,
rotate
the
dart
clockwise
as
you
pull
it
from
the
board.
BOUNCE-OUT
OPTION
This
optional
feature
allows
you
to
remove
the
score
caused
by
a
dart
that
does
not
stay
in
the
board
Since
the
electronic
scoring
works
on
impact,
a
score
will
register
even
if
the
dart
falls
out
of
the board
face
Simply
press
the
"BOUNCE-
OUT"
button
when
a
bounce-out
occurs
and
the
score
will
be
removed.
Official
rules
of
electronic
darts
specify
that
bounce-outs
count
as
long
as
the
score
registers.
However,
you
can
decide
whether
or
not
to
count
bounce
outs
or
not.
