7. Alarm function in the case of bacteria
Press the button (3) to activate the mould risk
alarm .Assoon as humidity exceeds the set value
for the mould alarm, thereisarisk of mould forming.
If the temperatureisbetween 25°C and 40°C and
humidity is greater than 70%, the ashing symbol
(8) for bacteria is shown on the
display and the mould alarm (12) is triggered.
Press the button (3) to deactivate the alarm.
When you deactivate the mould alarm, only the
ashing symbol (8) is shown
on the display until the measured humidity falls back
below the mould limit value entered.
8. Important information concerning health
Excessive indoor humidity promotes the growth of
undesirable organisms. Being in aroom with mould
infestation can damage people’simmune systems, lead
to respiratory diseases and allergies, and is related to
infections. Very dry indoor air can dry the skin, irritate
the throat and paranasal sinuses, and increase the
risk of infections. In adry climate, or if heating in the
home dries out the air,ahumidier can be used to
increase relative humidity.
Active heating and ventilation promotes acomfortable
and healthy indoor climate.
9. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Make surethat water does not get into the product.
