Why does the red indicator light turn RED and/or a loud alarm sound when an individual is raised with Handicare C1000 Lifting Systems?

  The red indicator light turning red and a loud alarm sounding when lifting someone typically means the batteries are low and need charging. You should charge the lift for at least one hour and then try to raise or lower the carry bar. If the problem persists after charging, contact your local authorized dealer for assistance.

What to do if the carry bar of Handicare C1000 Lifting Systems does not operate up or down?

  If the carry bar isn't moving, the batteries might be low. Check the indicator light on the control panel; it should be GREEN. Press the ON button, the UP/DOWN arrows, or any colored button on the hand control to activate the lift and turn the indicator light GREEN. If it still doesn't work, charge the lift for at least an hour and try again. Note that if the emergency lowering has been used, the UP and DOWN functions will not operate. In this case, DO NOT use the lift and contact your local authorized dealer.

What to do if Handicare C1000 lift is not Moving Down after RTC is mistakenly activated without carry bar?

  Climb up and pull the strap downwards by holding QRS Hook and press “DOWN” button on hand control, once strap length is convenient re-attach the appropriate carry bar, lift should start functioning normally, if problem persists contact your local authorized dealer immediately so that the lift can be checked to ensure proper continued operation.

What to do if the GREEN light is ON but Handicare Lifting Systems does not operate in the DOWN direction?

  The lift has a built-in slack tape detector that may be sensitive. Try applying weight to the carry bar while pressing the DOWN button. If this temporarily fixes the issue, but it returns, contact your local authorized dealer for assistance.

Why is one side of the lift tape starting to fray on Handicare Lifting Systems?

  Fraying may occur if the lift isn't directly above the person being lifted, especially with motorized traversing lifts. Ensure correct lift positioning.
