What to do if Handicare Scooter will not drive properly?
- MMelissa WilkersonAug 6, 2025
If your Handicare Scooter won't drive as expected, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the jack key is correctly inserted into its receptacle. Then, check the connectors in the motor compartment to confirm they're properly plugged into the controller and aren't loose. Also, verify that the battery clamps are securely fastened. If the scooter is in free wheel position, switch the free wheel lever to the BRAKE ENGAGE position, then remove and re-insert the jack key to reset the scooter. In case the automatic circuit breaker has jumped out, push it back in and reset the scooter with the jack key. Finally, inspect for any loose connectors; if found, correct the connection or contact your dealer for assistance.
