Before getting started
• Read the ‘Safety’ chapter from page EN-4,
in particular the safety notices.
– Install the appliance as described and
connect it as described in chapter „Start-
up“ on page EN-11.
Starting, pausing and ending
the cooking process
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to property damage.
■ Use only the supplied baskets for
cooking.
■ Check the cooking baskets for dam-
age or dirt before use. Clean with a
soft cloth if necessary.
■ Before operation, make sure that the
cooking baskets are fully inserted.
Never operate the appliance without
the cooking baskets.
■ Do not move the appliance while in
use, and make sure it is not located
directly on an edge.
In order to
• start a cooking process, select the de-
sired cooking mode with the function
keys (16). Alternatively, press the TIME/
TEMP button (11) of the active cooking
zone (cooking zone 1 by default) to set
the cooking time with the arrow keys.
To use the second cooking basket addi-
tionally, press the control button cooking
zone 2 (9) and repeat the setting steps.
Press the START/STOP button (7). You
can adjust the cooking time and tem-
perature at any time during the cooking
process. To do this, select the relevant
cooking zone and adjust the cooking time
and/or temperature with the TIME/TEMP
button and the arrow buttons.
• stop a cooking process, select the rele-
vant cooking zone with the corresponding
control button. In the case of cooking in
both zones, the cooking process is con-
tinued in the second zone. The cooking
process ends automatically after the set
cooking time has expired. The appliance
beeps 5 times and the display (15) flash-
es "0000".
The cooking process automatically
pauses when a cooking basket is re-
moved. Reinsert the cooking basket to
continue cooking. If the cooking basket is
removed for more than 5 minutes, the appli-
ance automatically switches off. In order to
continue the cooking process, the cooking
zones must be reprogrammed.
