Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. You can put your own and future
users’ lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out this repair
work.
Problem Possible cause Solutions, tips
Could not start
appliance, display
off.
No electricity to socket.
Check the socket by connecting
another appliance.
Mains plug is loose.
Check the tightness of the
mains plug.
Display is black. The appliance is in standby mode. Press the On/Off button.
The appliance emits
odours.
This can happen the first time you
use it.

Display shows
"Shut".
The cooking baskets are not
completely inserted.
Check the seat of the cooking
baskets.
The food is not
completely cooked.
Food is not sufficiently distributed
in the cooking basket, or the
temperature or cooking time is set
too low.
Distribute the food in the
cooking basket as described in
the section "Tips for cooking",
or increase the cooking time or
temperature if necessary.
