What to do if my Hanseatic Refrigerator doesn’t cool sufficiently?
    • J
      Joshua GilbertAug 4, 2025
If your Hanseatic Refrigerator isn’t cooling enough, there could be several reasons. First, the temperature might be set too high, so select a lower setting. Another cause may be that the door isn't tightly closed or the door seal isn't completely tight. The appliance might be near a heat source, consider placing an insulation plate between the appliances or changing its location. Only store cooled foods. Avoid freezing more than 18 kg at any one time. The ambient temperature might be too low or too high, so adjust the ambient temperature to the climate category. As a last resort, set “Quick freezing” SUPER FRZ. If the compressor does not switch on within an hour, no answer.

Why is my Hanseatic Refrigerator making a noise?
    • P
      Paul PottsAug 9, 2025
Operating noises such as humming (refrigeration unit is running), flowing noise (refrigerant is flowing through the pipes), and clicking (compressor is switching on or off) are functional and are not a sign of malfunction. If you hear unusual noises, check that the appliance is stable, remove any objects from the appliance, and remove any foreign matter from the back of the appliance.

How to fix a Hanseatic Refrigerator with compressor and interior lighting off?
    • R
      Raymond CopelandAug 16, 2025
If the compressor and interior lighting of your Hanseatic Refrigerator are off, it could be due to a socket without electricity supply. Check the socket with another appliance. It could also be that the mains plug is loose, so check the tightness of the mains plug.

    • B
      Barbara ChenAug 21, 2025
If your Hanseatic Refrigerator is cooling too quickly, it's likely that the temperature has been set too low. Select a higher setting (see “Setting the temperature” on page EN-14).

Why is compressor off but interior light on in my Hanseatic Refrigerator?
    • C
      Craig GarciaAug 28, 2025
If the compressor is off but the interior light is on in your Hanseatic Refrigerator, it means the desired temperature has been reached, so further cooling is not required. When the inside temperature rises, the compressor will automatically switch on.
