Why is my Hanseatic Refrigerator making so much noise?
    • L
      Laura BaileyAug 9, 2025
Some noises are normal during operation. Humming indicates the refrigeration unit is running. Flowing noises mean refrigerant is moving through the pipes. Clicking sounds occur when the compressor switches on or off. If you hear unusual noises, make sure the appliance is stable, remove any objects inside, and clear any foreign matter from the back.

What to do if my Hanseatic Refrigerator doesn’t cool enough?
    • S
      Sarah ValenzuelaAug 14, 2025
If your Hanseatic Refrigerator isn’t cooling sufficiently, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the temperature setting isn't too low. If it is, select a higher setting. Also, check that the door is tightly closed and the door seal is completely tight. Ensure the refrigerator isn't near a heat source; if it is, place an insulation plate between the appliances or change its location. Only store cooled foods, and don't overload the freezer (freeze a maximum of 3 kg at any one time). The ambient temperature could also be too low or too high; adjust it to the climate class. As a last resort, set the temperature to “2°C”. If the compressor does not switch on within an hour, please contact our Service department.

Why is the light on but the compressor off in my Hanseatic Refrigerator?
    • B
      bgonzalesSep 3, 2025
If the compressor is off but the interior lighting is on, it may be because the desired temperature has been reached and further cooling is not required. When the inside temperature rises, the compressor will automatically switch on.
