Locking/unlocking the control
panel
• To lock the control panel, press and hold
the holiday setting/lock button (19) for 3
seconds. The lock symbol (16) appears, a
tone sounds and the buttons are locked.
• To unlock the control panel, press and
hold the holiday setting/lock button for 3
seconds. The lock symbol disappears,
a tone sounds and the buttons are un-
locked.
Setting the temperature
Fridge compartment
The temperature range in the fridge com-
partment is 2 to 8 °C.
• To set the temperature in the fridge com-
partment, press the fridge temperature
button (17).
The temperature is reduced by 1 °C each
time you press the button. If the setting
reaches 2 °C, it jumps back to 8 °C the
next time you press.
Freezer compartment
The temperature range in the freezer com-
partment is –24 to –16 °C.
• To set the temperature in the freezer com-
partment, press the freezer temperature
button (18).
The temperature is reduced by 1 °C each
time you press the button. If the setting
reaches –24 °C, it jumps back to –16 °C
the next time you press.
Configuring operating mode
Rapid-cooling
In this setting the temperature in the fridge
compartment is set to 2 °C for a short
period. Then the temperature returns to the
previous setting.
• To switch on rapid-cooling, press and
hold the fridge temperature button (17) for
3 seconds.
The current fridge temperature (13) reads
2 °C.
• To switch off rapid-cooling, press and hold
the temperature button for the fridge com-
partment for 3 seconds.
The rapid-cooling symbol (21) disap-
pears.
Rapid-cooling is switched off when you select
the holiday setting.
Rapid-freezing
In this setting the temperature in the freez-
er compartment is set to –24 °C for a short
period. Then the temperature returns to the
previous setting.
• To switch on rapid-freezing, press and
hold the freezer temperature button (18)
for 3 seconds.
The current freezer temperature (14)
reads –24 °C. The rapid-freezing symbol
(20) appears.
• To switch off rapid-freezing, press and
hold the freezer temperature button for 3
seconds.
Rapid-freezing is switched off when you
select the holiday setting.
