      If the smoke stack of your Hardy Wood stove is stopped up, remove the smoke stack. Check the flue out of the top of the heater, and clean both the flue pipe and the smoke stack.

      If the baffle in your Hardy Wood stove (Model H4 Only) is stopped up, remove the baffle through the fire box door, and clean the baffle and flue area.

      If the pump in your Hardy Wood stove is running but there are still issues, consider these troubleshooting steps. First, check the 24-volt transformer at the existing central unit; if 115/120 volts is being supplied to the primary side, check for 24 volts on the secondary; if 24 volts is not present, replace the transformer. Next, inspect the wall thermostat inside your home; remove the cover, check for 24 volts, level the mounting base, blow dust from the sensing bimetal, and adjust the heat anticipator. Then, bypass the low-temperature sensor by removing the wires and connecting them to each other; if the pump runs, replace the low-temperature sensor. Finally, check the pump relay terminals #7 & #8 for 24 volts; if 24 volts is present, use an ohmmeter to check contacts by connecting it t...
