WORK AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clutteredbenches
anddarkareasinviteaccidents.
Do not operate portable fans in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or
dust.Portablefanscreatesparkswhichmayignitethedust
or fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
A battery operated portable fan with integral batteries or
a separate battery pack must be recharged only with the
specified charger for the battery. Achargerthat may be
suitableforonetypeofbatterymaycreateariskoffirewhen
usedwithanotherbattery.
Use battery operated portable fan only with specifically
designated battery pack. Use of any other batteries may
create a risk of fire.
Use this product only with batteries and chargers listed
in tool/appliance/battery pack/charger correlation
supplement 985000850.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves
away from moving parts. Looseclothes,jewelry,orlong
haircanbecaughtinmovingparts.
Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is in the locked
or off position before inserting battery pack. Carrying
portablefanswithyourfingerontheswitchorinsertingthe
batterypackintoaportablefanwiththeswitchoninvites
accidents.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Properfootingandbalanceenablebettercontrol
oftheportablefaninunexpectedsituations.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair.

Do not use on a ladder or unstable support. Stable footing
onasolidsurfaceenablesbettercontroloftheportablefan
inunexpectedsituations.
2-SPEED FAN USE AND CARE
Do not use portable fan if switch does not turn it on or
off. Aportablefanthatcannotbecontrolledwiththeswitch
isdangerousandmustberepaired.
Disconnect battery pack from portable fan or place
the switch in the locked or off position before making
any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the
portable fan.Suchpreventivesafetymeasuresreducethe
riskofstartingtheportablefanaccidentally.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws,
or other small metal objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
togethermaycausesparks,burns,orafire.
Keep the portable fan and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Alwaysuseacleanclothwhencleaning.
Neverusebrakefluids,gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,
oranystrongsolventstocleanyourportablefan.Following
thisrulewillreducetheriskoflossofcontrolanddeterioration
oftheenclosureplastic.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use this fan
near water.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Do not operate near any heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A chargerthat issuitable foronetype of
batterypackmaycreateariskoffirewhenusedwithanother
batterypack.
Use power tools only with specifically designated battery
packs. Useofanyotherbatterypacksmaycreateariskof
injuryandfire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other

from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek
medical help. Liquidejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or
modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictablebehaviorresultinginfire,explosionorriskof
injury.
Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive
temperature. Exposuretofireortemperatureabove265°F
maycauseexplosion.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the
battery pack or tool outside the temperature range
specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperaturesoutsidethespecifiedrangemaydamagethe
batteryandincreasetheriskoffire.
SERVICE
Portable fan service must be performed only by qualified
repair personnel. Serviceor maintenance performed by
unqualifiedpersonnelmayresultinariskofinjury.
