ELECTRICAL SAFETY

a separate battery pack must be recharged only with the
specified charger for the battery. Achargerthat may be

Use battery operated portable fan only with specifically
designated battery pack. Use of any other batteries may
create a risk of fire.

Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is in the locked
or off position before inserting battery pack. Carrying
portablefanswithyourfingerontheswitchorinsertingthe
batterypackintoaportablefanwiththeswitchoninvites
accidents.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Properfootingandbalanceenablebettercontrol
oftheportablefaninunexpectedsituations.

Do not use portable fan if switch does not turn it on or
off. Aportablefanthatcannotbecontrolledwiththeswitch
isdangerousandmustberepaired.
Disconnect battery pack from portable fan or place
the switch in the locked or off position before making
any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the
portable fan.Suchpreventivesafetymeasuresreducethe
riskofstartingtheportablefanaccidentally.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws,
or other small metal objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
togethermaycausesparks,burns,orafire.
Keep the portable fan and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Alwaysuseacleanclothwhencleaning.
Neverusebrakefluids,gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,
oranystrongsolventstocleanyourportablefan.Following
thisrulewillreducetheriskoflossofcontrolanddeterioration
oftheenclosureplastic.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use this fan
near water.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Do not operate near any heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Recharge only with the charger specified by the

modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit

Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive
temperature. Exposuretofireortemperatureabove265°F
maycauseexplosion.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the
battery pack or tool outside the temperature range
specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperaturesoutsidethespecifiedrangemaydamagethe
batteryandincreasetheriskoffire.
SERVICE
Portable fan service must be performed only by qualified
repair personnel. Serviceor maintenance performed by
unqualifiedpersonnelmayresultinariskofinjury.
