WARNING:
Always adjust bevel setting to zero before making a

Removethebatterypack.
Adjustthebevelsettingtozero.
Setthebladetothecorrectbladedepthsetting.
Swingthelowerbladeguardupusingthelowerblade
guardhandle.
NOTE: Alwaysraisethelowerbladeguardwiththehandle
toavoidseriousinjury.
Holdthelowerbladeguardbythehandle.
WARNING:
Neverextendyourfingerswhileholdingthelowerblade
guard handle. Extending your fingers could result in
contactwiththeblade,causingseriousinjury.`
OPERATION
ADJUSTING 0° BEVEL STOP
Removethebatterypack.
Loosenbevellockknob.
Loosenhexnutsecuringadjustingscrew.
Turnadjustingscrewandadjustbaseuntilsquarewith
sawblade.
Tightenhexnutandbevellockknobsecurely.
WARNING:
Attempting a bevel cut without having the bevel
adjustmentknobsecurelytightenedcanresultinserious
injury.
WARNING:
Topreventaccidentalstartingthatcouldcauseserious
personalinjury,alwaysremovethebatterypackfromthe
productwhenmakingadjustments.
0° BEVEL STOP

Thesawhasa0°bevelstopthathasbeenfactoryadjusted
toassure0°angleofthesawbladeplatewhenmaking90°
cuts.
CHECKING 0° BEVEL STOP
Removethebatterypack.
Placethesawinanupsidedownpositiononaworkbench.
Checkthesquarenessofthesawbladeplatetothebase
ofthesawusingacarpenter’ssquare.
ADJUSTMENTS
Restthefrontofthebaseflatagainsttheworkpiecewith
therearofthehandleraisedsothebladedoesnottouch
theworkpiece.
Startthesawandletthebladereachfullspeed.
Guidethesawintotheworkpieceandmakethecut.
WARNING:
Alwayscutinaforwarddirectionwhenpocketcutting.
Cuttinginthereversedirectioncouldcausethesawto
climbupontheworkpieceandbacktowardyou.
Releasethetriggerandallowthebladetocometoa
completestop.
Liftthesawfromtheworkpiece.
Clearcornersoutwithahandsaworsabresaw.
WARNING:
Never tie the lower blade guard in a raised position.
Leavingthebladeexposedcouldleadtoseriousinjury.
