Take the 10 plastic ships out of the bag to form each player's fleet.
Put red and white pegs into the storage compartments of each game unit.
Player calls out a coordinate to target the opponent's grid for a shot.
A shot lands on an opponent's ship, marked with a red peg on both grids.
A shot misses an opponent's ship, marked with a white peg on the target grid.
A ship is sunk when all its holes are filled with red pegs.
The first player to sink all five of the opponent's ships wins.
