The NERF HYPER EVOLVE-100 is a high-performance blaster designed for players aged 14 and up, emphasizing safety and an engaging play experience. Its primary function is to launch official Hyper rounds, offering a rapid-fire mechanism and a large capacity for extended play.
The EVOLVE-100 operates on a spring-action priming system, requiring manual priming before each shot. It features a gravity-fed loading system that ensures rounds are consistently fed into the chamber when primed correctly. The blaster is designed to be used with official NERF Hyper rounds, which are smaller and allow for a higher capacity compared to traditional NERF darts.
To load the blaster, first ensure the priming foregrip is pushed all the way forward. Then, tilt the front of the blaster down. Press and hold the hopper button to open the hopper doors. Fill the hopper with Hyper rounds, being careful not to overfill it. The blaster comes with 70 rounds, and additional rounds can be purchased separately. Once loaded, release the hopper button, and the doors will automatically close. The hopper has a "FILL LINE" to guide users on the maximum capacity, preventing overfilling which could lead to jamming.
Priming the EVOLVE-100 involves a two-step motion with the priming foregrip. To prime, pull the priming foregrip all the way back, and then push it all the way forward. For optimal priming and to ensure the gravity-fed system works correctly, it is recommended to keep the blaster level or tilt it downward during this process. Avoid tilting the blaster upward when priming, as this may prevent rounds from feeding into the chamber. A "READY INDICATOR" will appear on the side of the blaster once it is successfully primed, signaling that it is ready to fire.
Before firing, the trigger lock must be in the unlocked position. To unlock, move the trigger lock up. Once the blaster is primed and the ready indicator is visible, pull the trigger to fire one round.
The blaster includes a trigger lock mechanism located on the side. To lock the trigger, move the trigger lock down. To unlock, move it up. It is crucial to always engage the trigger lock when the blaster is not in use or when storing it, as a safety precaution.
The hopper button is used to open the hopper doors for loading rounds. Press and hold the button to open, and release to close.
The blaster features two hopper doors that open to allow rounds to be loaded into the hopper. These doors close automatically when the hopper button is released.
The hopper is the main storage compartment for the Hyper rounds. It has a large capacity, allowing for extended play without frequent reloads. The "FILL LINE" inside the hopper indicates the maximum fill level.
The EVOLVE-100 is equipped with tactical rails, which allow users to attach Nerf Hyper canisters for additional firepower. These canisters are sold separately and provide extra storage for rounds, enhancing the blaster's versatility in gameplay.
In the event of a jam, the blaster is designed with accessible jam-clearing mechanisms. To clear a jam, slide either of the access doors open. Carefully remove any jammed rounds from the internal mechanism. Once the rounds are cleared, close the access doors securely.
If the priming foregrip becomes stuck and cannot be moved, the blaster includes a reset switch. To use it, pull down and hold the reset switch, then push the priming foregrip all the way forward. This mechanism helps to reset the internal components and free the foregrip, allowing the blaster to be primed again.
It is important not to store the blaster primed and ready to fire. Always ensure the blaster is unprimed and the trigger lock is engaged before storage to prevent accidental discharge and maintain the integrity of the internal spring mechanism.
The manual strongly emphasizes safety, particularly regarding eye protection. Users are warned not to aim at eyes or face and are required to wear eyewear for players and people within range. Only official Hyper rounds should be used, and users are advised not to modify rounds or the blaster itself. The blaster is intended for ages 14 and up.
