Overview

The STC-200+ is a thermostat designed for controlling the power supply status of a wired heater or cooler, or for triggering an output alarm. This device is characterized by its simplicity, featuring just one relay for control.

Technical Specifications:

  • Model: STC-200+
  • Power Supply: 10A/220VAC
  • Version: 21.08.02GEN
  • Control Output: Single relay, suitable for heater, cooler, or alarm.
  • Sensor: Included, with connections for NC (Normally Closed) and Sensor.
  • Load Capacity: 10A at 220VAC.

Function Description:

The primary function of the STC-200+ is to maintain a desired temperature range by activating or deactivating a connected heating or cooling device. It operates based on a user-defined "SP" (Set Point) value and a "Hysteresis" (Temperature Difference) value. The device also includes features for protection delay and calibration.

Usage Features:

  1. Wiring Diagram: The device features a clear wiring diagram for easy installation.

    • Terminals 1 and 2 are for the 10A/220VAC power input.
    • Terminals 3 and 4 are for the load (heater, cooler, or alarm).
    • Terminals 5, 6, and 7 are for the sensor connections, with 5 being NC (Normally Closed) and 6-7 being for the sensor itself.
  2. Setting the Aimed Temperature Range: The desired temperature range is defined by two parameters: "SP" (Set Point) and "FO" (Hysteresis/Difference).

    • Setting the "SP" value:
      • Press the "Set" key to view the existing SP value.
      • Use the "Up" or "Down" keys to adjust the SP value. The adjustable range is limited by F2 (Lower Limit for SP Setting) and F3 (Upper Limit for SP Setting).
      • The device will automatically return to normal status from the setting interface after 30 seconds of inactivity.
    • Setting the "Hysteresis" Value (FO):
      • Hold the "Set" and "Up" keys simultaneously for 4 seconds. The display will show "FO".
      • Press the "Set" key again to view the current Hysteresis value.
      • Use the direction keys (Up/Down) to change the value.
      • Press the "Set" key to save the new data and return to the menu list.
  3. Function Menu (Code and Function): The STC-200+ offers several configurable functions accessible through a menu:

    • FO (Temperature Hysteresis / Difference): Defines the temperature difference between the set point and the activation/deactivation point.
    • F1 (Protection Delay Time for the Compressor): Sets a delay before the compressor (or connected device) starts, protecting it from rapid cycling.
    • F2 (Lower Limit for SP Setting): Establishes the minimum allowable value for the Set Point.
    • F3 (Upper Limit for SP Setting): Establishes the maximum allowable value for the Set Point.
    • F4 (Refrigeration or Heating or Alarm Mode): Configures the device for cooling, heating, or alarm operation.
    • F5 (Calibration = Real - Measured): Allows for sensor calibration to ensure accurate temperature readings.
  4. Saving Settings and Exiting:

    • To save data and return to the normal monitor status, hold the "Set" key for 3 seconds.
    • To quit from setting or leave it alone, hold the "Set" key for 3 seconds. The device will automatically revert to normal status within 30 seconds if no operation is performed.

Maintenance Features:

  • Calibration (F5): The calibration function allows users to adjust the sensor reading to match a known accurate temperature, ensuring the device provides precise control over time. This helps maintain the accuracy of the temperature readings and, consequently, the effectiveness of the control.

Important Notes:

  • This document serves as a quick start guide, highlighting key points. For a comprehensive understanding and detailed instructions, users are advised to refer to the full-content version user manual, which can be accessed via the provided QR code or URL.
