The above maintenance chart is supplied with
every engine. This label should be affixed to the
engine or equipment in an easily visible position.
The maintenance chart governs the maintenance
intervals.
For new or reconditioned engines, the following
must always be carried out after first 25 operat-
ing hours:
– Replace engine oil and oil filter, chap. 5.3.2.
– Check tappet clearance, and adjust if neces-
sary, chap. 5.3.3.
– Examine screw connections, chap. 5.3.5.
Do not tighten the cylinder head fastening.
For short operating periods: replace engine oil
and oil filter after 12 months at the latest, re-
gardless of the number of operating hours.
