Why Hatz Engine won't start?

Your Hatz engine might not be starting due to several reasons. First, make sure the speed control lever is in the START position. Also, verify that the stop pin is not engaged in the STOP position; pull it lightly to the operating position. Check if there's fuel at the injection pump and refuel if necessary. Finally, insufficient compression due to wrong tappet clearance can also be a cause; in this case, check and adjust the tappet clearance.
