SLOPE GUIDE
SIGHT AND HOLD THIS GUIDE LEVEL WITH A VERTICAL TREE,
A CORNER OF A STRUCTURE, A POWER LINE POLE, OR A FENCE.
A 10 degree slope is a hill that increases in height at approximately 1.7 feet in 10 feet.
Use extreme care at all times, and avoid sudden turns or maneuvers. Follow other instructions in this manual for safety in mowing on
slopes. Operate a riding mower up or down slopes, never across the face of slopes. Operate a walkbehind mower across the face of
slopes, never up or down slopes. Use extra care when operating on or near slopes and obstructions.
