Maintenance
UNLOCK
Once your keys are paired to the locks and the locks are programmed you can open any locker door, in the
case that a user locks themselves out, by doing the following:
o Touch the Black Manager’s Key to the key slot.
o Press then touch the Yellow Programming Key to the key slot.
Opening a lock with the Manager’s key does not erase the assigned or shared use code.
After a wrong code is entered more than 3 times, LED will flash several times and lock will go to sleep
mode for 2 minutes before being active again. During sleep mode, the buttons will be non-responsive if
pressed.
The Black Manager’s Key is able to wake the lock up from sleep mode and open it. If you do not have
access to the Black Manager’s Key, please allow one full minute until the LED stops flashing and the
keypad is responsive to try the code again.
IDENTIFY THE MODE
If you are not sure if a lock is in Shared or Assigned mode, simply press
C
.
If the LED flashes red it is Shared mode, and if it flashes green, it is in Assigned mode.
PROGRAMMING
When setting up the locks with keys and users, be swift when operating the lock keypad
More than 3 seconds between commands might stop the process and you will need to start the command
again
LOST OR STOLEN KEYS
In case of lost/stolen Yellow Programming Key, the key will continue to operate the lock(s) until it is replaced.
Immediately order a Replacement Yellow Programming Key from your Heartwork Representative.
Once received, Heartwork will provide you with a new set of instructions to reprogram all of your lockers.
Every lock will need to be programmed again.
Lost or stolen Black Manager Key will continue to operate the locks unless reset. To prevent locks from being
accessed by unauthorized users, erase all registered Manager Key(s) and register only the remaining Manager
Key(s).
ERASE A LOST MANAGER KEY
Collect all the remaining Manager’s Keys
Press
C

, the LED will flash.
Touch the Yellow Programming Key to the key slot until a two tone beep is heard and the LED starts flashing.
Touch the Yellow Programming Key to the key slot again until three sets of two-tone beeps are heard and the
LED turns off. All previously registered Black Manager Key(s)
have been erased from the lock.
