Why do my Heath Zenith Home Automation lights stay on continuously?
    • J
      Joseph SmithJul 30, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Automation lights are staying on continuously, it could be due to several reasons. First, a flood lamp might be positioned too close to the sensor or pointed at nearby objects, causing heat to trigger the sensor; in this case, reposition the lamp away from the sensor or those objects. Alternatively, the light control might be pointed toward a heat source like an air vent, dryer vent, or a brightly-painted heat-reflective surface; reposition the sensor in this instance. Lastly, the light control could be in Manual Mode; switch it to Auto.

How to fix Heath Zenith SL-5411-WH lights that will not come on?
    • A
      Andrew McknightAug 5, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Automation lights are not coming on, there are several potential causes. First, ensure that the light switch is turned on. Next, check if the flood light is loose or burned out, and secure or replace it if necessary. Also, verify that the fuse is not blown or the circuit breaker is not turned off, and replace the fuse or turn on the circuit breaker if needed. Keep in mind that the daylight turn-off may be in effect, so re-check after dark. If this is a new installation, check the circuit wiring. Finally, re-aim the sensor to cover the desired area.

What to do if Heath Zenith Home Automation lights flash on and off?
    • T
      Tiffany SullivanAug 11, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Automation lights are flashing on and off, it could be due to several reasons. The heat or light from the lamps may be turning the light control on and off, so try repositioning the lamps away from the sensor. Heat being reflected from other objects may also be affecting the sensor, so reposition the sensor. If the light control is in the Test mode, flashing is normal while it is warming up. Finally, light may be leaking through the flood-lamp reflectors, so replace the lamps with new high quality PAR 38 lamps.

Why do my Heath Zenith SL-5411-WH lights come on for no apparent reason?
    • G
      George WilliamsAug 16, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Automation lights come on for no apparent reason, it could be that the light control is sensing small animals or automobile traffic; in this case, re-aim the sensor. It's also possible that the range is set too high; if so, reduce the range.

Why do my Heath Zenith SL-5411-WH lights turn on during the day?
    • F
      Frederick JohnsonAug 22, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Automation lights come on in daylight, it could be because the light control is installed in a relatively dark location; try repositioning the light control. Also, the light control might be in Test mode; set the control switch to an ON-TIME position.
