Refer to Pictoria! 1-9 for the following steps.

Turn the circuit board foil-side-up and cutoff any
excess lead lengths.
Install
and
solder
a
connector
pin
in
hole
TP1
on
the
foil
side
of
the
circuit
board.
NOTE:
Solder
may
flow
into
the
connector
pin
when
you
solder
it
to
the
foil.
It
is
not
necessary
to
remove
the
solder,
as
the
pin
is
used
only
asa
test
point
during
calibration.

CIRCUIT BOARD CHECKOUT
Carefully inspect the circuit board for the following
conditions.
(s ) Unsoldered connections. ‘
“Cold” solder connections.
tS)
Protruding leads which could touch together.

Transistors and integrated circuits for the proper type
and installation.
Tantalum capacitor for the correct position of the
positive (+) end.
(y,) Diodes for the correct position of the banded end.
This completes the assembly of the circuit board. Set it aside
temporarily.
