STEP-BY-STEP
ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT:
Before
you
start
to
assemble
this
kit,
read
the
wiring
and
soldering
information
in
the
“Kit
Builders
Guide.”
Due
to
the
smal!
foil
area
around
the
circuit
board
holes
and
the
small
areas
between
foils,
it
will
be
necessary
to
use
the
utmost
care
to
prevent
solder
bridges
between
adjacent
foil
areas.
Use
only
a
minimum
amount
of
solder
and
use
no
larger
than
a
40-watt
soldering
iron
with
a
small
tip.
Allow
it
to
reach
operating
temperature
and
then
apply
it
only
long
enough
to
make
a
good
solder
connection.
Resistors
will
be
called
out
by
their
resistance
value
in
Q,
kQ
or
MQ,
and
by
their
first
three
color
bands.
The
Capacitors
will
be
called
out
by
their
capacitance
value
(in
PF
or
pF)
and
type
(ceramic,
tantalum,
or
electrolytic).
A
separate
‘‘Illustration
Booklet”
contains
numbered
istustrations
(Pictorials,
Details,
etc.)
that
are
too
large
for
the
Assembly
Manual.
The
Step-by-Step
Assembly
instructions
will
direct
you
to
the
proper
illustration
in
the
Booklet.
After
you
have
completed
the
assembly
of
your
kit,
place
the
Hlustration
Booklet
with
the
Assembly
Manual
and
save
them
for
future
reference.

Avoid
eye
injury
when
you
clip
off
5%
tolerance.

when
a
tolerance
of
10%
is
excess
lead
lengths.

suggest
that
you
hold
the
leads,

fourth
color
band
will
be
silver.
