No other valves should be placed between the expansion valve and the
Multipoint SS cylinder. The expansion valve connection must not be used for
any other purpose.
3.2 PLUMBING
To make installation of the Multipoint SS easier it is supplied with a Non 1.
Return Valve, Expansion Vessel and Pressure Relief Valve.
Plumb the Multipoint water heater as shown below in Diagram 02. Ensure 2.
the Pressure Reducing Valve is installed in the correct orientation by
reference to the direction of the ow arrow marked on it.
The water connections to the unit are 3/4” BSP male with Ø22 mm 3.
compression ttings suitable for Ø22 mm copper pipe.
Inlet and outlet are colour coded accordingly for hot and cold. Several 4.
hot outlets via conventional taps can be served, however, individual site
demands should be considered when choosing capacity and the number
of outlets.
It is recommended that a WRAS listed isolating valve (not supplied) is 5.
tted on the cold water supply to the heater before the Pressure Reducing
Valve.
Plumbers Paste must not be used as it can impair the operation of the 6.
valves.
