19 - Air Filter
Check if cleaning or replacement is necessary when you
nd cracks or damaged on foam. Before mounting, it
is recommended to grease the lter with Air lter extra
protection from Nils. This will help x the smallest dust
particles.
To insert the lter, slide through the center of the spring
until it is xed at the midpoint. The lter must stay in the
center of the intake hose. Assemble the bae and lter
cover, in this order.

It is important to maintain the gap stipulated by
TRS of 1mm between the electrode and the arc to
ensure optimum engine performance.
Its colour tells you whether you are using the right car-
burettor setting:
Very white colour: very poor mixture.
Very black colour: too fuel at mixture.

It is very important to check the air lter after every
riding. Correct maintenance will allow you to achieve
perfect operation, better engine performance and lon-
ger life of your motorcycle as well.
To access the air lter, you must remove the cover lo-
cated on top of the lter box. Remove the countersunk
screw located on the front. (Fig. B)
You will nd the lter box bae. This is piece Channel
the air ow and reduce dirt on the air lter. Remove the
allen screw to access the air lter. (Fig. C)
To remove the air lter (g. D) move the spring
back and remove the lter upwards.
