Connect the Drain Hose as shown in (FIG. 10 and 11). Connect the other end of the Drain
Hose to the drain
The drain tube can be extended by adding an extension hose and using a suitable connector.
Note: I
The drain must be as high or below the unit drain hole. The “full water tank” indicator
does not work with this drainage method.
CLEANING
CAUTION! A
Protect the product from direct contact with water, and make sure that water doesn’t
get the opportunity to get in.
Always unplug the fan before cleaning and disassembling the air filter frame.
C Clean it regularly to maximise air conditioning efficiency.
Clean the surface of the device with a damp cloth , sponge or brush.
Pay particular attention to cleaning all ventilation openings.
Avoid oil and grease contamination (especially to gripping parts). If contamination should
occur, wipe the product with a damp cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or chemicals for cleaning. Permanent damage
to plastic parts could occur.
CLEANING THE FILTER
To remove accumulated dust and dirt from the filter
use a vacuum cleaner or gently tap the filter, then rinse it thoroughly under running,
lukewarm water (up to 40 °C).
Dry thoroughly before use.
C Never use the unit without a filter.
STORAGE
Store the machine out of reach of children.
Turn the motor off and disconnect the mains plug if the machine is not used.
Don‘t store the product in direct sunlight for long periods.
For safety reasons worn or damaged parts should be replaced.
Store in the original packaging (if possible) in a clean, dry, dark and frost-free place protected
from dust and out of reach of children.
Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not retain moisture. Do not use sheet plastic as
a dust cover. A nonporous cover will trap moisture around the machine, promoting rust and corrosion.
The ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30°C.
LONG-TERM STORAGE
Drain all the water accumulated inside the unit, and then operate the unit for a few hours
only on the ventilation mode to dry it thoroughly.
Clean or replace the filter.
Place the appliance in its original carton or cover it before storing it.
