GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS

Don‘t use in cabinets, chambers, boats, caravans or similar places.
Don‘t use the appliance in swimming pools, washrooms or similarly humid places.
Allow the appliance to stand for 12 hours before connecting it to the power supply after
transport or after commissioning (e.g. during cleaning).
Only use the appliance in a vertical position on a flat, level surface (even during transport!)
and at least 50 cm away from any other object.
A gap of at least 50 cm must be provided between the appliance and any flammable or
heating material.
Don‘t place any objects on the appliance and don‘t restrict the air inlet/outlet.
Try to protect the appliance from splashes.
Avoid twisting, rewinding or dragging the power cord, never use a nylon or iron wire to
attach the power cord.
Make sure the plug and socket remain visible and accessible at all times.
Don‘t use extension cables.
Never remove the plugged-in unit if it falls into water. In this case, pull out the plug
immediately. Check the appliance before re-use.
The appliance must be installed in accordance with national electrical wiring standards.
Don‘t exceed the recommended room size, otherwise the appliance‘s maximum efficiency
can‘t be guaranteed.
Close doors and windows.
Leave curtains and blinds closed during the sunniest hours of the day.
Keep the filters clean.
Once the room has reached the desired conditions, reduce the temperature and ventilation settings.
SAFETY WARNINGS REGARDING R290 COOLANT
CAUTION! A
Read these warnings carefully.
This appliance contains R290 coolant. R290 is a coolant that complies with relevant European
directives. Never puncture the cooling circuit. R290 is flammable (GWP3)!
Don‘t use equipment that isn‘t recommended by the appliance manufacturer to speed-up
defrosting or cleaning processes.
The appliance must be stored in a room without a permanent ignition source (for example:
open fire, functional gas appliance or functional electric heater).
Don‘t pierce or burn any components on the appliance's cooling circuit. Keep away from
naked flame.
The appliance must be stored in such a way as to prevent mechanical damage.
The appliance should be installed, used and stored in a room with an area larger than 10 m
2
.
Be aware that coolants may not emit odour, which means that you can‘t detect leakage by smell.
Observe for compliance with national gas directives.
Don‘t place any objects on or cover the ventilation openings.
Note that the appliance must be kept in a well-ventilated area where the room size
corresponds to the area of the space for its intended use.
