Double-hole mounting
1. Mark the position of the holes on the ceiling and drill the holes.
2. Put the wall plugs into the holes.
3. Hold the base against the ceiling.
4. Screw the base to the ceiling.
5. Put the detector onto the base.
(The test button of the smoke detector has to be flush with the oblong hole in the base)
6. Turn the detector clockwise until the base sinks into the smoke detector and snaps into
place at the end (rotation approx. 45°). After insertion of the detector into the base, it
automatically starts operation and carries out a function test.
