8.8.3 Wheel brake remounting
(1) Apply brake fluid to the piston and piston cup and reinstall spring, cup, piston
and dust cover in this order.
(2) Install the operating cylinder on the backing plate.
CAUTION: Make sure each component is in position when in stalling it.
Bolts should be torqued to 14.7-19.6N.m for 2 ton trucks and 17.6-26.5N.m for
ton trucks.
(3) Install the backing plate on the front axle.
Torque moment for bolts: 120-140N.m.
(4) Apply No.2 calcium-base grease on the a, b, c, d and e points indicated in
Fig.8-21and Fig.8-22, with care not to contaminate the friction piece with grease.
