8.4.1 Cable-operated gear shift,
single-cable
Only applies to pedelecs with this equipment
For a smooth gear shift, adjust the adjusting
sleeves on the shifter housing.

8.4.2 Cable-operated gear shift,
dual-cable
Only applies to pedelecs with this equipment
For a smooth gear shift, set the adjusting
sleeves underneath the chain stay on the
frame.
The shift cable has around 1 mm play when it
is pulled out gently.

8.4.3 Cable-operated twist grip,
dual-cable
Only applies to pedelecs with this equipment
For a smooth gear shift, set the adjusting
sleeves on the shifter housing.
There is noticeable play of around 2–5 mm (1/
2 gear) when twisting the twist grip.
