What to do if the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Controller power supply PCM OK LED is off?
    • T
      Thomas AndersonAug 15, 2025
If the power supply module is not receiving adequate power, verify that the power cable is properly connected and check the power source. Also, verify that the PCM is firmly locked into position within the PCM slot. Review event logs for specific information regarding a PCM fault and follow any recommended actions.

What to do if the Hewlett Packard Enterprise HPE MSA 2060 connected host port Host Link Status LED is off?
    • L
      lisa32Aug 18, 2025
If the link is down, check cable connections and reseat if necessary. Inspect cables for damage and replace if necessary. Swap cables to determine if the fault is caused by a defective cable and replace the cable if necessary. Verify that the switch, if any, is operating properly. If possible, test with another port. Verify that the HBA is fully seated, and that the PCI slot is powered on and operational. Review event logs for indicators of a specific fault in a host data path component and follow any recommended actions.

What does it mean if the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Controller enclosure front panel Fault/Service Required LED is amber?
    • B
      Brandon NelsonAug 25, 2025
If a fault condition exists or occurred, check the LEDs on the back of the controller enclosure to narrow the fault. Check the event log for specific information regarding the fault and follow any recommended actions. If installing an IOM FRU, try removing and reinstalling the new IOM and check the event log for errors. If the above actions do not resolve the fault, isolate the fault.
