Function Description:
The Hisense HRF266N6CSE1 is a household refrigerator designed for storing food and beverages in both fresh food and freezer compartments. It features a water dispenser with a filter to provide clean drinking water and an ice maker for convenience. The appliance is intended for use in various domestic and similar environments such as kitchen areas in shops, offices, hotels, motels, bed and breakfast environments, and catering applications. It is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Important Technical Specifications:
- Power Supply: Single phase alternating current of 110~115V/60Hz. An A.C. automatic voltage regulator of more than 350W should be used if voltage fluctuates beyond the upper limit.
- Refrigerant: Isobutane (R600a), which is flammable. Care must be taken to avoid damaging the refrigerant circuit during transportation and installation.
- Climate Class: Performs well within climate classes N to T, with ambient temperatures ranging from +50°F to +109°F (+10°C to +43°C).
- Water Pressure for Ice Maker: Maximum inlet water pressure is 700kPa (100psi); minimum inlet water pressure is 207kPa (30psi). A booster pump may be required for low water pressure areas (below 30psi).
- Water Filter Life: Generally, the water filter should be changed every 6 months or after dispensing approximately 300 gallons of water.
- Dimensions (approximate for installation clearance): At least 3" (75mm) clearance from the back to the wall, 4" (100mm) from the top, 4" (100mm) from the sides to the wall, and sufficient clear space in front to allow doors to open 125°. The top should be tilted backwards by 0.4" - 0.6" for doors to self-close.
Usage Features:
- Display Controls: The control panel is located on the top cover and includes icons for Ice On/Off, Filter Change, Super Freeze, Fridge Temperature Control, Super Cool, Freezer Temperature Control, and Energy Saving.
- Temperature Control:
- Fridge Temperature Control: Allows setting the fridge temperature in a sequence from 47°F down to 35°F and back up to 40°F.
- Freezer Temperature Control: Allows setting the freezer temperature in a sequence from 6°F down to -12°F and back up to -5°F.
- Special Modes:
- Super Cool: Decreases the time needed to cool products in the fridge. The fridge temperature setting displays at 35°F and automatically switches off after 3 hours, reverting to the previous setting.
- Super Freeze: Decreases the time needed to freeze products in the freezer. The freezer temperature setting displays -12°F and automatically switches off after 26 hours, reverting to the previous setting. It helps retain vitamins and nutrients in fresh food.
- Energy Saving: Turns on/off Energy Saver mode. When on, the fridge temperature is automatically set to 42°F and the freezer to 2°F.
- Demo Mode: For store display, prevents the refrigerator from generating cool air. Indicators show "OF". To cancel, press and hold "Ice On/Off" and "Energy Saving" for 3 seconds.
- Ice Maker: Controlled by the "Ice On/Off" button. It takes 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice after installation, and 2 to 3 days to fill the storage container. The first three batches of ice should be discarded.
- Water Dispenser: Located on the left side of the fridge. Water is dispensed by pushing the button and pressing the lever. Water may continue to dispense for 2-3 seconds after releasing the button.
- Storage Compartments:
- Refrigerator Compartment: Suitable for vegetables and fruit. Food should be sealed to prevent moisture loss and flavor permeation. Includes door bins, glass shelves, and fruit and vegetable crispers. Some shelves are foldable.
- Freezer Compartment: Includes an upper drawer, a lower drawer, and an ice box.
- Adjustable Features: Adjustable bottom feet for leveling, and adjustable door baskets and glass shelves for flexible storage.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- General: For hygienic reasons, the appliance (interior and exterior) should be cleaned at least every two months.
- Exterior Cleaning: Spray water onto a cleaning cloth (not directly on the surface) and wipe with a mild detergent and soft cloth. Avoid sharp objects, thinners, car cleaner, bleach, oil, abrasive cleansers, or organic solvents.
- Interior Cleaning: Clean regularly with a weak solution of baking soda and water, then rinse with warm water and wipe dry.
- Defrosting: The appliance automatically defrosts. If frost builds up in the freezer, remove food, unplug, leave doors open, and ventilate to accelerate defrosting.
- Door Seals: Keep clean to prevent sticking and tearing. Wash with mild detergent and warm water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Water Filter Replacement:
- Shut off water supply.
- Turn the water filter (K) about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and pull it out. An enclosed tool can be used if difficult.
- Insert the new filter and turn clockwise until it locks.
- Turn water supply back on.
- Flush 2.5 gallons of water (approx. 5 minutes) to remove trapped air and contaminants.
- LED Light Replacement: Must be done by a competent person. Unplug the appliance, remove the light cover, pull out the old LED light by pressing the connector latch, replace with a new LED light, and snap the cover back in place.
- Disposal: The appliance must not be disposed of as household waste. It should be taken to an authorized waste disposal center for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The power cord should be cut off and discarded. Refrigerant and gases must be disposed of professionally to avoid eye injuries or ignition. Ensure the refrigerant circuit is not damaged.
