FEATURES
1.
Unitorque
motor
with
quartz
lock
servo
A
quartz
lock
servo
feature
has
been
incorporated
in
the
Unitorque
motor
which
is
characterized
by
a
torque
which
is
generated
in
principle
uniformly
and
by
smooth
constant
speed
rotation.
As
a
result,
a
superb
speed
accuracy
and
high
signal-to-noise
ratio
are
produced.
2.
Manual
priority
and
two-motor
fully
automatic
mechanism
A
special
DC
motor
is
adopted
to
drive
the
tonearm
and
this
is
accompanied
by
a
fully
automatic
mechanism
which
has
absolutely
no
effect
on
the
rotation
of
the
platter.
During
manual
operations,
however,
there
is
no
interference
from
this
fully
automatic
mechanism.
3.
Electronic
return
detection
mechanism
(PHOTO-SENSOR
SYSTEM)
A
no-contact
electronic
system
is
used
for
the
automatic
return
detection
upon
completion
of
disk
play.
This
means
that
no
lateral
force
is
aplied
to
the
stylus
tip
and
that
there
is
no
ensuing
distortion.
4.
Hitachi’s
own
HARC
(Hitachi
Anti-Resonance
Compound)
By
employing
the
HARC
compound
with
its
high
specific
gravity
for
the
cabinet,
undesirable
vibration
is
kept
down
to
the
bare
minimum
and
acoustic
feedback
is
improved.
5.
Highly
sensitive
straight
tonearm
with
gimbal
supoort
A
gimbal
support
system
is
adopted
for
the
bearing
construction
of
the
tonearm
for
reduced
rotational
resistance
and
superb
traceability
with
a
light
tracking
force
performance.
In
addition,
by
employing
a
low-mass
straight
tonearm,
the
grooves
are
traced
steadily.
This
feature
combines
to
suppress
the
vibrations
which
impair
sound
quality.

operation
with
soft
fingertip
touch
switches
.
Viscous
damped
arm
lifter
never
damages
stylus
tip
.
Easy-to-operate
ONE-TOUCH
SYSTEM
Once
the
unit
is
combined
with
the
HA-M70
amplifier
which
is
compatible
with
the
ONE-TOUCH
SYSTEM,
the
amplifier’s
function
is
automatically
switched
to
PHONO
when
the
unit
is
operated.
9.
Remote
controlled
operation
By
combining
the
optional
RM-1000
remote
control
center
and
the
IRB-1000
remote
control
unit,
it
is
possible
to
Operate
the
auto-in,
auto-cut
and
temporary
play
suspension
functions
by
remote
control.
