INSPECTION OF INDOOR UNIT ELECTRICAL
1. Unable to put power on. (Nothing is working)
Is AC100V between terminal
A and B?
Is AC100V from an outlet?
Check outlet and breaker
and repair.
Is DC35V between terminal
C and D?
Is AC100V between terminal
A and B of outdoor unit?
Check indoor-outdoor connecting
cable and set correctly. (If wrongly
connected, lack of insertion)
Check power wiring, power
switch terminal and repair.
Is DC35V between terminal
C and D of outdoor unit?
Connect wire C and D
opposite.
Make the cable connection
correctly.
Is emergency switch on
running?
Check remote control unit. (Refer
“Inspection of remote control unit”.)
Check power supply circuit
of outdoor unit and repair.
Exchange remote control unit.
Is there poor contact of CN2
or lead wire disconnection?
Repair lead wire and
connector connecting.
Exchange sensor unit.
After switching on, immediately
will timer-lamp flash 13 times?
Exchange control circuit board.
Is control voltage normal?
Is DC12V at the both edge
of C102?
Exchange REG 1 after confirm
everything is normal heat from
short circuit parts of circuit board
pattern. (Also exchange in case
output is over 15V)
Is DC12V between REG2 I
and REG2 G?
Exchange terminal after
confirming there is no
disconnection of CN9. (It is
melting out of temperature
fuse).
Is Micro-Computer reset
onputting pin 17 at HI-level?
Is DC5V between REG2 O
and REG2 G ?
Exchange REG2 after confirm
everthing is normal heat from short
circuit parts of circuit board pattern.
Is Micro-Computer clock pin 15
16 working correctly? (8 MHz)
Exchange control circuit board.
Make final checking if machine works.
Repair the break-down parts
after confirming re-setting circuit.
Exchange Micro-Computer
and swing-pin.
