Battery cover Battery
WARNING
Use a AAA alkaline battery.
Take care to insert the battery in the correct direction.
Do not use a damaged or deformed battery.
Do not short or attempt to charge a dry-cell battery.
Do not use a rechargeable battery (Ni-Cd, etc.).
Only open the battery cover when necessary.
CAUTION
Remove and store the battery when it will not be used for a
long time or for transport.
When removing the battery cover, take care not to drop the
battery.
Take care to prevent children or pets from putting small
parts into their mouths.
Do not use tweezers or a screwdriver during battery
installation/removal.
Preparations for Use
Getting the Electronic Pen
Ready
Refer to Fig. 3 and install the battery
in the electronic pen.
Only use the following battery:
AAA Alkaline battery × 1
NOTE
As the battery loses power, the
electronic pen ceases to function
properly. Replace the battery
with a fresh one.
Replace the battery once a year.
