WARNING
Use a AAA alkaline battery.•
Take care to insert the battery in the correct direction.•
Do not use a damaged or deformed battery.•
Do not short or attempt to charge a dry-cell battery.•
Do not use a rechargeable battery (Ni-Cd, etc.).•
Only open the battery cover when necessary.•
CAUTION
Remove and store the battery when it will not be used for a •
long time or for transport.
When removing the battery cover, take care not to drop the •
battery.
Take care to prevent children or pets from putting small •
parts into their mouths.
Do not use tweezers or a screwdriver during battery •
installation/removal.
Preparations for Use
Getting the Electronic Pen
Ready
Refer to Fig. 3 and install the battery
in the electronic pen.
Only use the following battery:
AAA Alkaline battery × 1
NOTE
As the battery loses power, the •
electronic pen ceases to function
properly. Replace the battery
with a fresh one.
Replace the battery once a year.
