Why is my Hiyasu HB-30E not cooling or heating properly?
    • J
      Jacob MortonAug 3, 2025
Poor cooling or heating performance in your Hiyasu Air Conditioner can stem from several factors. Check if the air filter is dirty or if the intake grille or outlet port are blocked. Ensure the thermostat is set correctly. Also, check for open windows or doors. During cooling, bright sunlight entering the room, heating appliances, computers, or too many people in the room can affect performance; try closing the curtains.

      Bradley StoutAug 8, 2025
If your Hiyasu Air Conditioner doesn't operate at all, make sure the power supply plug is properly connected to the outlet. Check for any power failures in your area. Also, inspect the fuse to see if it has blown out, or check if a circuit breaker has been tripped. Finally, verify if the timer is currently in operation.

Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Hiyasu HB-30E Air Conditioner?
    • M
      Melissa TurnerAug 12, 2025
Weak or stopped airflow in your Hiyasu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily low to warm internal parts. If the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting during heating, the outdoor unit stops, and the indoor unit operates at low fan speed; increase the thermostat setting if needed. The unit may also temporarily stop for 7-15 minutes during Automatic Defrosting (OPERATION lamp will flash). Fan speed may also be very low during Dry operation or when monitoring the room's temperature, or in monitor AUTO operation.

Why is my Hiyasu HB-30E emitting mist or steam?
    • K
      Katherine JamesAug 15, 2025
During cooling or dry operation with your Hiyasu Air Conditioner, a thin mist may be emitted from the indoor unit. This is due to the rapid cooling of room air, which causes condensation and misting. During heating, steam from the outdoor unit may occur when the fan stops due to automatic defrosting.

Why is my Hiyasu Air Conditioner making noise?
    • C
      Christopher RiveraAug 29, 2025
During operation of your Hiyasu Air Conditioner, and immediately after stopping it, you might hear the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping. Also, noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation due to the sound of coolant flowing. During heating, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, which is produced by the automatic defrosting operation.
