EMERGENCIES
Note
• If unsure of the bulb replacement process for any of the lamps, please have the
work carried out by a suitably trained service technician.
•
Headlamp aiming is a safety item. It is recommended that you have it carried out
by your Holden Dealer.
NOTES WHEN REPLACING BULBS
• Switch the ignition off and remove the keys.
• Switch off the related switch.
• It is important to t only bulbs of the specied wattage.
• Do not touch bulbs or reectors with bare hands. Greasy ngers cause stains which
evaporate, eventually resulting in a dull reector. Grease spots on Halogen bulbs will,
within a short time, lead to bulb failure. Clean stained bulbs with methylated spirits.
BULBS TO BE CHANGED BY A HOLDEN DEALER
• Front fog lamps.
• Rear high level stop lamp.
Headlamps (55 W)
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Remove the scrivets from the upper
radiator cover and remove.
3.
Remove the bolts securing the
headlamp assembly and carefully
remove the head lamp.
4.
Disconnect the headlight connectors.
5. Remove the cap covering the head
lamp bulb.
6.
Release the spring retaining the bulb.
7. Remove the bulb and replace.
8. Reverse the steps to reinstall the head
lamp assembly.
Parking lamps (5 W)
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Remove the head lamp assembly.
Refer to Headlamps above.
3.
Remove the cap covering the parking
lamp bulb.
4.
Pull out the parking lamp bulb
assembly located next to the head
lamp bulb.
5.
Pull the bulb straight out of the bulb
holder.
6.
Reverse the steps to reinstall the
head lamp assembly.
