KNOW YOUR VEHICLE
The main switches for the power windows are located on the driver’s door armrest.
The front switches are for the front windows and the rear switches are for the rear
windows.
Individual switches are located on the front passenger door and on the rear doors.
The switches for the power windows are operational when the ignition switch is in the
ON or ACC position.
Driver’s window auto function
The driver’s window has an auto down
two stage function.
To lower the window, press down rmly,
then release the switch. The window will
automatically fully open. To stop the window
while it is opening, press the switch again.
To raise the window, pull up and hold the
switch. To stop the window, release the
switch.
Passenger windows
To open a passenger’s window, push down on the switch and hold it down until the
window reaches the desired position then release.
To close a window, pull back on the switch until the window reaches the desired position
then release.
Note The rear windows do not open fully.
Lock switch
The lock switch for the power windows is
located on the driver’s door armrest.
When the lock switch is in the ON position
the passengers are not able to operate
their windows from the window switch
tted to their door.
Pressing it unlocks the passenger’s power
windows and allows operation from the
individual window switches.
Note After the ignition key has been
turned to the LOCK position or removed
from the ignition switch, the windows can
be operated for up to 10 minutes or until
the driver’s door is opened.
WARNING
• To assure the safety of children and others, ensure that all passengers have
their hands, etc. clear of the windows.
•
Remove the key when leaving the vehicle, to avoid unintentional window
operation by children.
•
Ensure the lock switch has been set to the activated position when children
are in the vehicle.
