REAR SEAT
Sedan
WARNING
• Do not press the release button on the
top of the seat back while the vehicle
is moving. This could cause damage
or injuries to the occupants.
• Do not allow passengers to sit on the
folded seat backs while the vehicle
is in motion. Unrestrained luggage
or passengers on a folded seat back
could be thrown within or ejected
from the vehicle in a sudden stop or
accident.
The middle section of the rear seat may be folded forwards to gain access to the boot
area or for carrying long loads.
To fold the middle section forward, press the lock button (located at the top centre of
the middle seat) all the way down.
To return to the upright position, make sure the seatbelt is free. Push back into place
and ensure that the lock button is fully engaged.
Sportwagon
The rear seat back is divided into two
sections. Either section or both sections
may be folded down.
To fold down a seat back section, press
the lock button (located next to the head
restraint) all the way down. Fold the seat
back forward.
To return the seat backs to the upright
position, enure the seatbelts are free.
Fold the seat back rearward until the latch
is engaged.
Note
• Try to move the seat back to check
that the latch has engaged.
• If the seat back is not completely
engaged, the word UNLOCKED
and the colour red around the lock
button are visible. Repeat the latching
procedure until the lock button is fully
raised.
